HEDGE FUND DECISION IMPACT -- "Hedge fund lawyers are advising their clients to not withdraw their registrations after Friday’s ruling from the D.C. Circuit that the SEC can’t require them to register with the agency, reports the New York Times. Some are waiting to see if the SEC will appeal the ruling; others say that hedge fund advisers that have already registered will stay registered, as the fact that they’ve registered could be used as a marketing tool."
